Diploma in Website Design (DWD)
With more communication and commerce being conducted online than ever before, the web provides incredible opportunities for designers. Web designers play a central role in building dynamic websites and applications that deliver content in a variety of formats for multiple devices.This IT training programme is designed to equip would-be and inexperienced Web designers with the technical knowledge and skills to create well designed sites in terms of aesthetics and good navigation, using today's modern web design tools to manage, create and upload websites.
Pre-requisite:
Candidates are expected to be confident with Windows Operating System environments, including creating, moving and deleting files and folders and use of web browsers. They must also be familiar with the common internet, website and web terminologies.

Duration: 36 hours over Three (3) months Four (4) hours each Saturday.
Multiple training delivery methods are employed including Lectures, Demonstrations, Practical, Self Practice and workshop using real life case study with particular reference to Nigerian situations. The training is at least 80% practical.

- Streamline work processes and create accessible, standards-compliant pages (Covering planning, creating, editing, publishing and site management)
- Create and manage websites.
- Earn industry recognition through demonstration of in-depth technical skill and suitable for employment.
- Employer recognition (selection, bonuses, advancement, pay).
- Sit for and pass Certified Web Designer (CWD), Certified Associate Webmaster (CAW), Associate Web Professional (AWP) and Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) certifications.
