CCNP
The CCNP training course certifies a network professional's ability to install, configure and troubleshoot converged local and wide area networks with 100 to 500 or more nodes. Network Professionals who achieved CCNP certification have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network.
Pre-requisite:
Participants must have completed the CCNA training course.
The CCNP training course is composed of 3 modules. Below is a short description of each module:
- ROUTE – Students will learn how to use advanced routing to provide scalability for routers that are connected to LANs and WANs.
- SWITCH – Students will learn to plan, configure, and verify the implementation of complex enterprise switching solutions for campus environments.
- TSHOOT – Students will gain the skills needed to maintain networks and to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and effectively. Students will learn troubleshoot techniques, and how to maintain particular technologies, including procedural and organizational aspects of the troubleshooting and maintenance process.

- Support Engineer Level 2
- Systems Engineer Level 2
- Network technician and Deployment engineer System Engineers.
A CCNP can do the following:
- Implement appropriate technologies to build a scalable routed network
- Build campus networks using multilayer switching technologies
- Improve traffic flow, reliability, redundancy, and performance for campus LANs, routed and switched WANs, and remote access networks
- Create and deploy a global intranet
- Troubleshoot an environment that uses routers and switches for multi-protocol client hosts and services
Date: 8th August, 2016
Duration: 180 hours over Three (3) weeks. Three (3) hours each day Mondays -Fridays.
